Over the past couple of years, Microsoft made several attempts to acquire Zoom. However, Recode has previously reported that “the talks never grew serious”. In fact, the founder of Zoom, Eric Yuan has been repeatedly declining the offers, since he's not interested in the idea of selling the company.
Still, when viewed feature for feature, Microsoft Teams looks like more of a rival to Slack than it does the likes of Zoom Meetings or Cisco Webex Meetings. Microsoft Teams video conferencing has the ability to host calls with up to 250 members (including screen sharing and call recording).
Microsoft Teams is excellent for internal collaboration, whereas Zoom is often preferred for working externally – whether that's with customers or guest vendors. Because they integrate with each other, it's easy to create clear scenarios for users on which to use when.
Both GoToMeeting and Zoom have multiple screen sharing settings for doctor collaboration, but integration is just better with Zoom. For example, Zoom integrates directly with Epic, which is one of the most popular workflow solutions in the telehealth industry.

Zoom offers a full-featured Basic Plan for free with unlimited meetings. Both Basic and Pro plans allow for unlimited 1-1 meetings, each meeting can have a duration of 24 hours maximum. Your Basic plan has a 40 minutes time limit per each meeting with three or more total participants.
Zoom does have an “attention tracking” feature that hosts can enable. If the person hosting the call enables it, they can see whether or not you're paying attention to screen-sharing presentations. The host can only see whether you've had the Zoom window in focus on your desktop in the last 30 seconds.

- Open the Zoom mobile app. If you have not downloaded the Zoom mobile app yet, you can download it from the Google Play Store.
- Join a meeting using one of these methods:
- Enter the meeting ID number and your display name.
- Select if you would like to connect audio and/or video and tap Join Meeting.
Enter the appropriate @zoom command in Group Chats to start a meeting without a meeting topic, start a meeting with the specified topic, or join a meeting. When the meeting ends, the Bot will post a meeting summary and a recording link (if the meeting is recorded in cloud).

Adding an external contact
- Sign in to the Zoom app.

Create a new Zoom account:

- In the email you received from Zoom, click Activate Account.

When you create a new event with Google Calendar on the web and in the Calendar apps on Android or iOS, you also may add video conferencing with Google Meet. In Chrome on a computer, go to calendar.google.com, sign in, then select + Create to create a new event.
How to find zoom API keys
- Select JWT and click Create.
- Next fill in the basic information about the App. Such as your name, email etc.
- Next go to App Credentials and you will find API Key and Secret.
