To tame an adult sarcosuchus in the intended way, the player must attack it until it reaches 8 hp (a DinoPedia is recommended to determine the health of the creature). At 8 hp, it will go into "sleep mode." While the sarcosuchus is asleep, the player must right-click it with an aquatic scarab gem.
To tame the T-rex you will need to hit the Tyrannosaurus with a sword till it lies down, then right-click it with a red scarab gem.
It can also be crafted into an aquatic scarab gem, which is used to tame aquatic and semi-aquatic creatures. )(If you want to increase your chances of getting the fossil block, knock it out with a pick with archeology enchantment).
To tame them, one must repeatedly right-click the animal with the whip. Each time the mob is hit, its mood decreases, but it becomes more likely to be tamed. This taming process works for all growth stages of animals.
It can be ordered with a stick, and cannot be ridden due to the large plates on its back.
RIDING. Adult Brachiosaurus are rideable after being tamed. It is controlled with a whip. It uses the same riding controls as a horse.
TAMING. As of Build 8.0. 0, liopleurodon is no longer considered an apex predator like the megalodon or mosasaurus. To tame it, one must simply be within 6 blocks of the sac's hatching (which the player almost certainly will be as the sac acts like a spawn egg), feed it meat or even whip it until it gets tamed.
Dryosaurus, like most prehistoric creatures, can be tamed by being within 6 blocks of them when they hatch. If this opportunity is missed, they can then be tamed either through feeding, or using a whip on them. Feeding it increases their mood, while whipping lowers it. When tamed, they cannot be ridden.
TAMING. Tiktaalik, much like Meganeura, is not tamed on hatching, but needs to be tamed by giving it meat or using a whip on it. Tamed tiktaalik are ordered by right-clicking with a nautilus shell, and cannot be ridden.
To use the Time Machine, you must first find the Ancient Key by slaying the warlord Anu in his Castle. You must then travel to the The Room and unlock the Ancient Treasure Chest in the hidden room, which will reward you with an Ancient Clock.
To craft Bio-Goo, you need an egg, a bucket of milk, some wheat, and some rotten flesh. The egg can be substituted with the eggs of Prehistoric Creatures, and the rotten flesh can be substituted with Failuresaurus Flesh to create 4 Bio-Goo at once.

However, with F/A alone, dinosaurs do not spawn naturally in the world. In order to spawn them in, you must find fossils, and analyze them to get DNA, which you can then turn into dinosaur eggs. However, Prehistoric Spawn adds code to allow dinosaurs to spawn naturally in the overworld.
Fossils can be found buried underground on rare occasions in desert and swamp biomes. They are composed of several bone blocks arranged in the shape of a giant spinal column, rib cage, or skull. Some of the bone blocks may be replaced by coal ore. Fossils are a good source of bones for players in peaceful mode.
This DLC adds 60 dinosaurs, including added skins and hybrids. Each base dinosaur has a bioluminescent skin and a color skin. The player can ride in park vehicles, tranquilize and transport dinosaurs, collect dinosaur samples and add their own attractions.
