Look as my opinion 78% is good score in CBSE class 12 boards. But if you want to give IIT JEE, then it should be less marks. Actually everything depends on your happiness, if you are happy with your score its good, as you know better how much you deserved .
92% is really a very good score. In the end, marks don't matter, what matters is your knowledge. So, focus on gaining knowledge and not marks. If you gain knowledge, then automatically you can score good marks.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday announced the CBSE Class 12 Results 2019. Hansika Shukla scored 499 out of 500 marks, just one mark short of the perfect score. Along with Hansika Shukla, Karishma Arora too topped the CBSE Class 12 Exams and emerged as the topper.

No, 10th class doesn't matter for JEE or IIT. To be eligible for NITs/IIITs and IITs you should have 75% marks in your board exam or you should be in top 20 percentile. For SC/ST you should have 65% marks.
Listen passing marks is 33% for class 10th out of 90. It means you have to score between 29.5–32 marks. That is enough.
