Depending on the pin, some pins that are sold at the Disney parks can get pretty expensive. This means that trying to buy and collect pins that are sold in the parks can be pretty expensive. Some pins are even sold on websites like eBay and apps like Mercari for way more money than they originally cost.
One of the rarest Disney pins and possibly the largest is the limited edition Super Jumbo Maleficent Dragon Gate pin made exclusively by artist Guy Vasilovich. There were only 100 of these pins made, making them very rare. The pins are platinum and very large, measuring, 4.5" x 5".
Just stop by Guest Relations at the front of the park and let them know you are celebrating. Festival giveaways – There are many special festivals throughout the year at Disney World. Often, during these special events, there is free stuff at Walt Disney World Parks!
These fan pins are not trademarked or officially sanctioned by Disney but so many people are crazy about them! For sake of comparison I've compiled a mixture of Official Disney Pins and Fantasy Pins below. The ones marked as “ShopDisney” are official merchandise and the ones marked “Etsy” are fan merchandise.

By the way, some pins cannot be purchased at Walt Disney World. They are distributed to Cast Members to wear on their lanyard or pouch and the only way to get one is to trade for it. Cast Members MUST trade any pin on their lanyard to any guest who asks, but there is a maximum of two trades per lanyard.
There is no comprehensive list detailing the exact value of each and every Disney collector's pin available. Most pins retail between $6 and $7, but the truly limited editions such as the jeweled pins retail at a much higher price.

It is an officially supported hobby promoted by Disney. Pins do rise in value and some have commanded over $2,000 in private and public sales on the secondary market, which too this day remains vibrant and active. 2) Pins should be undamaged and in good condition and a trade should not include money, gifts or receipts.
All Disney Cast Members will accept them for trades, but they probably are not pins you would want to keep in your collection if you become a serious collector. If you or your kids are trading pins with Cast Members, you're going to get scrappers in return. That's just a fact of pin trading.
You can trade up to two pins per Disney Cast Member. You must be giving them an official Disney pin in order to trade. The Disney trademark is marked on the back of the pin.

Hidden Mickey Pins are a collection of pins released by Disney at Disney Parks and Resorts. Hidden Mickey Pins are available for trade at Disney Parks and Resorts through Disney Cast Members. Disney Cast Members typically display these pins on pin lanyards.
Some of its supposed members include Elton John, Elizabeth Taylor, Tom Hanks and Christina Aguilera. The club was built in a speakeasy style; with just a small "33" address plate to mark its entrance in New Orleans Square.
Look for the official Pin Trading logoEvery official Disney Pin should have a Pin Trading logo on the back. The central part of the logo is a classic Mickey head with a banner underneath it. Inside the banner has the text "Pin Trading," with the release year beneath it.
Payments can be made in any amount in as many installments as you'd like. Vacation must be paid off in full seven days prior to travel. In the event that the Disneyland® Resort raises ticket prices prior to your visit, your original ticket price will be locked-in and you will not need to worry about the price increase.
