The "world's largest" historic motor racing festival has been thrilling a sell-out crowd of 150,000 in West Sussex. Most have been in period dress at the Goodwood Circuit, near Chichester.
The Goodwood Revival is a three-day festival held each September at Goodwood Circuit since 1998 for the types of road racing cars and motorcycle that would have competed during the circuit's original period—1948–1966.
The Revival is held at the Goodwood Motor Circuit. Goodwood is located four miles north of Chichester, 60 miles from London and 30 miles from Brighton and Southampton.

ITV will broadcast the first four live races from Goodwood racecourse. ITV1 is on Sky channel 103 and Virgin channel 103. The whole card will also be shown live on Racing TV along with Newmarket's action.
ITV have increased their coverage of Goodwood this year and will broadcast five live races each day. They will be on air from 1.30 to 4pm from Tuesday to Friday, and on Saturday coverage lasts until 4:30. Racing TV has coverage of the first race each day, and the last race - or last two races on eight-race days.
The quickest way to get to Goodwood from London by train is from London Waterloo to Petersfield with a journey time of 1 hour and 2 minutes. Then, take a 30-minute taxi ride through picturesque countryside. The nearest station to Goodwood is Chichester.
