Michigan State University. Credit or advanced standing may be granted to students who have participated in the College Board Advanced Placement Program in their high schools. On most Advanced Placement Examinations a score of 3 or better will earn waivers or academic credit for equivalent courses.
Students may receive credit through Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program, College-Level Examination Program (CLEP), Dantes Subject Standardized Tests (DSST) and International A Level examinations. All scores must be sent to the Office of Admissions directly from the testing agency.
General Credit Undergraduate
The Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA) allows students to complete general education courses at participating colleges and universities in Michigan. Students may complete the MTA as part of an associate degree or as a stand-alone package at Michigan institutions.
