What to Look for In a Metallic Colored Pencil Set

The white Prismacolor Premier pencil gave better, more vibrant white coverage over grayscale than the Faber Castell Polychromos white did.. ?This is really important to me, especially when coloring over grayscale.

They are oil based and have fantastic lightfastness (will not discolour over time with exposure to light), and are regarded as one of the best quality coloured pencils on the market. Prismacolor Premier pencils are made in Mexico and are wax based, making them very soft with incredibly vibrant pigments.
By color ratings, I mean either: > RGB ratings, which means percentage of red, green, and blue or. > CYMK ratings which means Cyan (a light blue), yellow, magenta (combination of half red and half purple), and black. Looking at actual pencils, the colors are often similar but not identical.
-If you've experienced poor quality and breakage issues with Prismacolor, choose the Arteza. -If you prefer something a touch firmer for detailed work, the Arteza are favourable, if you like buttery application of colour and surface blending/pigment pushing, then Prismacolor are the way to go.
