A tag statement is an elliptical statement that follows and echoes a main clause statement. Examples: In English, a subject noun or pronoun followed or preceded by an auxiliary verb as in the following example is a tag statement: He made a good showing, did Bill.

When you tag people or things in a post or photo, you are identifying them and essentially “linking” them in your post. To tag, simply type the @ symbol and then the start of the person's or business's profile name. The name should pop up as an option.

A Tag is a phrase that quickly describes the writing within a story. Tags can be used to search for stories on any given topic. Tags assigned to a story can be found at the bottom of that story. Tags are assigned at the point of publication or during editing.
Some things will make your claim more effective than it would otherwise be:
- Make one point at a time.
- Keep claims short, simple and to the point.
- Keep claims directly relevant to their parent.
- Use research, evidence and facts to support your claims.
- Use logic to support your claims.
Example: To make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, you must procure the ingredients, find a knife, and spread the condiments. This thesis showed the reader the topic (a type of sandwich) and the direction the essay will take (describing how the sandwich is made).
