How do I find phone number on the Alcatel MyFlip?
- Start from the main screen.
- Find the “Settings” icon.

You can easily find the SIM number by ejecting the SIM card or in “Settings” on your phone.

Perform Over-The-Air Activation (OTA)
- Dial *228 then press the SEND button. For Home Phone Connect, dial *228 only.
- When prompted, press 1 to begin programming. Press 2 to update the PRL only.
- Wait for up to 2 minutes while the network links the service with the phone.
Pair
- Press the OK button on the keypad.
- Scroll to and select Settings.
- Under the 'Network & Connectivity' tab, scroll to and select Bluetooth.
- Select On / Off.
- The device will begin searching for available devices.
- If prompted, enter the password that is set up for the device that you are trying to pair with.

Select: Settings > Call settings > Blocked calls. From the 'Blocked calls' screen, highlight a number. to choose Options. Select 'Remove' or 'Edit'.
Press the OK button on the keypad. Scroll to and select Messages. Open the text message containing the picture.
Scroll to Settings and press the Center key. Scroll to Volume and press the Center key. With Incoming Ringer Volume highlighted, press the Center key. Scroll up or down the preferred volume level.
Ringtone for all calls
- From the home screen, press the OK button on the keypad.
- Scroll and select Settings.
- Scroll right to the 'Personalization' tab.
- Select Sound > Tones > Ringtones.
- Select from the available ringtones that are available.
Select Sound & notification. Select Volume. Select 'Alert Sounds' or 'Media'. Press the bottom of the navigation pad (to decrease volume) or the top of the navigation pad (to increase volume) then select OK.
First-time use
- Make sure the battery and SIM card are inserted: Insert the battery. Insert the SIM card.
- From any Home screen, tap the All apps icon.
- Tap Setup.
- To skip the Setup guide, tap Skip all.
- Tap Get started.
- Select desired language: English. Espanol.
- Tap Next.
- If desired, follow instructions to set up Wi-Fi.
An IMEI number is always on GSM system devices that use AT&T and T-Mobile carrier. A MEID number is always on CDMA system devices that use Verizon, U.S. Cellular, or Sprint carriers. IMEI is a 14-digit number while MEID is a 15-digit number.
Go to your device's Settings (usually by dragging down from the top navigation menu and tapping the profile icon, then the Settings gear icon). From there, scroll down to the bottom and tap About Phone. Then tap ?Status. Scroll down to find your IMEI or MEID number.
But in general, you can go to Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Network Operators and tap Search Now to see if the names of other carriers come up. If multiple carrier names show up, your phone might be unlocked.
