In January, Wolf proposed raising Pennsylvania's minimum to $12 per hour by July 1, and increasing it by 50 cents each year to reach a $15 per hour minimum wage by 2025.

Lowest Minimum Wage States
As of February 2020, Georgia and Wyoming have the lowest state minimum wage requirements, according to data from the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL). At $5.15 per hour, each state has a minimum wage more than $2.00 below the federal mark of $7.25.The new rate of pay will come in on 1 April 2020, a rise from £8.21 to £8.72 for workers over the age of 25, marking an increase of 6.2 per cent.
