Mineplex isn't dead. We've lost players, that's obvious, and we're constantly working to improve as a server and community. We may not have as many players as we once did, but we still get thousands combined from all of our versions.

The Hypixel server is currently best played with the version 1.8. 9 due to the changes newer versions have had with systems such as PVP and world loading. Minecraft version 1.8. 9 is the most optimized client for our network.
Hypixel & Rezzus obviously get paid. The Admins & Build Team also get paid, since working for Hypixel is their jobs. Moderators & Helpers roles on the Server are done without payment or anything in return.
