It can look white, cloudy and watery or yellow and pus-like. Occasionally the discharge will not be present until it is squeezed out of the urethra. This discharge can also be accompanied by burning or itching sensations around the opening of the penis, which can be extremely unpleasant.
1. Early pregnancy discharge. While many women experience vaginal discharge, it's not often associated with pregnancy. But most pregnant women will secrete sticky, white, or pale-yellow mucus early on in the first trimester and throughout their pregnancy.

Some STDs have symptoms, but many don't, so they can go unnoticed for a long time. For example, it can take more than 10 years for HIV symptoms to show up, and infections like herpes, chlamydia, and gonorrhea can be spread even if there are no symptoms.
UTI's often have a frequent or urgent need to urinate, a feeling of incomplete bladder emptying, and cloudy, dark, or strange-smelling urine. However, STDs can have additional symptoms that are not present with a UTI. These symptoms include: Pain during intercourse.
