Lebron James is not just better than Curry, he's much better. Lebron even averages more points despite Curry being the better shooter. If Curry has a bad shooting night, generally that's it for him. Lebron could score 10 points and still lead his team to victory.

That didn't stop Howard to think highly of Kobe and in a recent appearance on Gilbert Arenas podcast, he said Kobe Bryant was superior to Michael Jordan in terms of skillset. Even though Jordan has more accolades in his career, it was always obvious he is one of the most skilled players in NBA history.
The truth can now be told: Yes, Kobe Bryant says, he did copy Jordan—"Damn near 100 percent of the technique," he says.
There is no doubt that the 2006 NBA season was Bryant's best season. Bryant had his best points per game average that year, and one of the best point per game averages in NBA history.
Kobe was a great defender, but Jordan was better. Kobe got 9 All NBA 1st team defensive selections, the same as Jordan, and 3 more 2nd teams, but he never won Defensive Player of the Year, never won the steals title, and didn't block as many shots per game as Jordan. Jordan was also better at defensive rebounding.
Though there were seasons Kobe was more athletic and had higher scoring numbers I would say Kobe's prime was the 2009–2010 season. In 2009 Kobe was fresh off a brutal game 6 blowout, the Celtics mopped the floors with the Lakers with the a 39 point win.
ESPN places Kobe Bryant 9th in 'Top 74 Basketball Players of All Time' list. ESPN recently released a list in parts. It includes the top 74 basketball players of all time, according to its NBA ranking expert panel.
Kobe created tremendous amounts of success for his team and also earned numerous personal records and awards. He built his career on the foundation of perseverance, grit, and skill. 24, were retired by his team, the Los Angeles Lakers. Most of the time, an athlete's accomplishments stay on the court.
Bryant died at age 41, along with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven others, due to blunt force trauma sustained from a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California.
Kobe ended up being successful by winning three NBA titles en route to unseating a retired Michael Jordan to become the best guard in the league. The on-court success tells only part of Kobe's story, however. Bryant is more than just a basketball player. My answer is simple: Kobe Bryant is a hero.
