Edit a payment method
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Play Store app .
- Tap Menu Payment methods. More payment settings.
- If asked, sign in to pay.google.com.
- Under the payment method you want to edit, tap Edit.
- Make your updates.
- Tap Update.
Here are the steps to do that:
- Open the Google Play Store.
- Click on the three lines in the top left corner.
- Look for the option that says "Payment Methods" with a little card next to it.
- Click on that option, and choose the payment method that works best for you.
Go to "Account" and then to "Purchase History". From there, you can assign an upper limit to your budget. The new capability lets you receive a notification informing you if your spending is close to or beyond your set budget.
If your payment didn't go through properly you won't receive the in-app purchase you tried to buy. Sometimes restarting the device can help fix in-app purchase issues. - Make sure date and time are updated. If you have recently changed the date and time on your device, make sure the date and time are correct.
How to fix “In-app Purchase Not Allowed” message?
- From the Home screen, swipe over to the screen with the “Settings” icon, then select it.
- Select “General“.
- Scroll down and select “Restrictions“.
- Type your restriction password.
- Scroll down to the “In App Purchases” option and ensure it is turned “On“.
Clear cache & data from Google Play Services
- On your Android phone or tablet, open your Settings app.
- Tap Apps & notifications. App info or See all apps.
- Tap Google Play Services.
- Tap Storage or Storage & cache. Clear cache.
- Tap Clear storage Clear all data. OK.
- Open the Google Play Store, then try your download again.
- From a Home screen, navigate: Apps > Settings.
- Tap one of the following: Option varies depending upon device. Applications. Application manager. App manager.
- Tap Google Play Store.
- Tap Clear Cache then tap Clear Data.
- Tap OK.
It drives me crazy.
Parental Controls Within the Google Play Store
- To turn on the parental controls in the Google Play Store, open the store on the device and then tap the 3 lines in the top left corner of the screen.
- Next tap “settings” and then “Parental controls”.
- Turn it on by toggling the switch to the On position.
Use a promo code for an in-app purchase
- Find the in-app purchase you want to apply the promo code to.
- Start the check-out process.
- Next to the payment method, tap the Down arrow .
- Tap Redeem.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your purchase.
In iOS 11 and lower, choose “General” > “Restrictions“. Type your restriction password. If you don't remember setting a password, ask anybody else who may have had access to the device. Scroll down to the “In App Purchases” or “iTunes & App Store Purchases” option and ensure it is turned “On/Allow“.
For Android:
- Start the Google Play Store app from the homescreen.
- Tap on the Menu button and pick Settings.
- Scroll down to the User Controls submenu, and tap on the Set or Change PIN option.
- Choose a PIN that will be easy for you to remember, but hard for the kids to guess, and reenter it after pressing OK.
To start you'll need to find the icon shown below, which is the Google Play Store. It's in your app tray, or often right on the first screen of any Android device sold. As shown above head to the Play Store and tap Settings and look down to user controls, and check the password option.
Here's how to use Android Pay within apps.
- Download and install the Android Pay app, if you don't already have it.
- Open the Android Pay app.
- Set up your credit card.
- Launch one of the apps that support Android Pay and make a purchase.
- Checkout after you're done shopping.
Robux and membership can be bought in the Roblox Mobile App found on the iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon app stores.
Find your purchases, reservations & subscriptions
- On your Android phone or tablet, open your device's Settings app Google. Manage your Google Account.
- At the top, tap Payments & subscriptions.
- Tap Manage purchases, Manage reservations, or Manage subscriptions.
- To see more details, select an item. Here, you can take actions, like: Track a delivery. Cancel a reservation.
So, if you are unable to do online transaction or contactless transaction from your existing debit, credit card, then your bank might have deactivated your services due to non-use of the online transaction services for long-time. There can be some other reason for that as well.
Declined by bank or card issuerSometimes a transaction may trigger your bank's security and anti-fraud system to reject it. You will need to contact your bank or credit card issuer to have this problem resolved.
Try the following:
- Check to see if your payment method is up to date.
- Make sure that you have enough money in your account for the purchase.
- If you're still having issues, contact your bank to see if there's a problem with your account.
- Try making the purchase again with a different payment method.
Your card issuer might block the payment for security reason as it doesn't fit your regular spending pattern. Your card is not activated for online payments. There could be a sending limit on your card that has been exceeded. The network you're using to make the payment is not secure or unstable.
Usually, this involves contacting your bank or credit card company to fix the issue.
- Figure out the reason for the decline. Once the declined payment happens, your credit card company or bank may share the reason for the decline with us.
- Contact your credit card company or bank.
If your payment method is declined in the App Store or iTunes Store. If you have an unpaid balance in the App Store or iTunes Store, you might see one of these messages: "There is a billing problem with a previous purchase. Please edit your billing info to correct the problem."
Note: You can't add PayPal to your Google Pay account through the Google Pay app. However, you can add it via the web page or through your Google Play app. Once you do that, your PayPal account will appear as a method of payment in the Google Pay app itself.
Go to reportaproblem.apple.com. Sign in with your Apple ID and password. If you see the "Report" or "Report a Problem" button next to the item that you want to request a refund for, click it. Follow the instructions on the page to choose the reason why you want a refund and submit your request.
Return money
- Open the Google Pay app .
- On the transaction you want to return, tap Details.
- Tap Decline. If it says "Completed," you can't return the money. You can try to send the same amount back to the sender instead.
- Tap Decline again.
