The Terms and Conditions do say that if you leave TalkTalk you cannot keep your email address. However, in practice, so long as you sign in to TalkTalk Webmail at least once every 180 days the email account will remain open.

Your email accounts will remain active as long as you regularly login via webmail. Even if you use mail clients you'll need to login to webmail about once per month for each account to ensure it stays active.

Re: How do I delete an old Tiscali email address? It isn't complicated for TalkTalk Broadband customers. Usually it's a sign in to MyAccount and go to the Manage Webmail, select the email account, select Delete and Confirm and it's gone.
Forgotten your My Account details
- Go to My Account and select Forgotten your password?

Setting up TalkTalk email on an Android device
